10-Year Limited Warranty Policy for Ballistic Shields
1. Warranty Coverage: Princip Defense offers a 10-year limited warranty on all ballistic shields, covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service. This warranty is extended to the original purchaser and is non-transferable. The warranty period begins on the date of purchase.
2. Warranty Claims: If a defect covered by this warranty occurs, the original purchaser must contact Princip Defense within 30 days of discovering the defect. Claims must be accompanied by proof of purchase, including the original receipt or invoice, and a description of the defect. Princip Defense reserves the right to inspect the shield and determine if the defect is covered by this warranty.
3. Warranty Remedies: If the defect is deemed to be covered by this warranty, Princip Defense will, at its discretion, either repair the shield, replace it with a new or refurbished product, or offer a refund of the purchase price. Replacement or repaired shields will be warranted for the remainder of the original warranty period or 90 days from the date of repair or replacement, whichever is longer.
4. Exclusions: This warranty does not cover:
- Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, or neglect, including improper storage, handling, or maintenance.
- Damage caused by unauthorized modifications or repairs.
- Normal wear and tear, including scratches, dents, or fading.
- Damage resulting from exposure to extreme environmental conditions, such as excessive heat, moisture, or chemicals.
- Damage caused by ballistic impacts beyond the shield’s rated protection level.
5. Limitation of Liability: Princip Defense’s liability under this warranty is limited to the repair, replacement, or refund of the defective shield as described above. Princip Defense is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the shield, including personal injury or property damage.
6. Warranty Return Process: To initiate a warranty claim, contact Princip Defense customer service to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. The shield must be shipped to Princip Defense with the RMA number clearly marked on the outside of the package. The original purchaser is responsible for shipping costs associated with returning the shield for warranty service. Princip Defense will cover the cost of return shipping for repaired or replaced products.
7. Governing Law: This warranty policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state or country where the shield was purchased. Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to this warranty policy shall be brought exclusively in the courts of that jurisdiction.
8. Warranty Updates: Princip Defense reserves the right to update or modify this warranty policy at any time. Any changes will apply to products purchased after the date of the modification.
